- Mix up your content to interest your fan base. No single post will be interesting to everyone who follows your brand. Mix up the content with: a) your own original content (which can be photos, videos, blogs, articles), b) other people’s content within your industry, c) other people’s content outside your industry, d) timely topics in the news, e) funny pics and quotes.
- Post regularly. Posting on a regular schedule will not only get your information in front of more people, but will improve your search engine optimization. Social is now being indexed in the search engines and can have a positive impact on your company’s search results. Consider using an automated posting website like Hootsuite and/or use the Facebook scheduler for Facebook posts, this will allow you to post content for a certain period of time without doing it daily. Over time, if you have certain content that posts on specific days or times, your audience will be looking for your posts, and if they don’t come over their feed, will be clicking over to your page to see what’s there!
